I've seen on the 6502.org forum a post related to the 65SIB bus : could It be implemented in an expansion card?

Besides the resolution discussion a vera card for the XT class machines would allow tile based games: saving a lot of work to the cpu.
And let's not forget the audio since the majority of early PCs had only a poor speaker.

maybe if you post here the code developers can integrate it into the latest ROM version.

maybe he wants to play the game also on a "friend's CX 16" otherwise saving on the SD card should have no problem

Tecnically speaking  when CX16 listens to the bus,  which timing can be accepted by the standard protocol?

 

As a pure and odd theory could the standard protocol be made into a 2bit bus? in which the clock line works as usual but two bits are sent in the data and srq lines?
