Honestly I do not know through whom they could get hold of the computers, at that time I did not really grasp the concept of two different worlds, west and east that is. I know my dad had some friends from the military who had other friends who could get these things, but that is roughly it.

I got the Enterprise in 1986 and the C=64 in the next year. It was all behind the iron curtain, so technology always lacked behind somewhat from the western parts of Europe.
