Re: PLOT $FFF0 (x,y) with vpoke?
Hi good afternoon. There is also vpoke/vpeek on the cc65, prog8 and other nice things in the languages to get to know the x16 in the system. you then create these in the language. You have to rethink the x16, otherwise you can also buy a c64. With the basic of the x16 you can also use Vpoke/VPeek, ...

Re: Serial Number Tracker
Ouch! Invest in a chip puller. They're cheap and your board and chips will thank you for it. Indeed. Luckily the pins weren't snapped off or cracked; I gently got them back into alignment and put the 65C02 in a safe IC holder. I've got a 40-pin ZIF socket on the way, so I can more safely swap CPUs ...

Re: Serial Number Tracker
DEV0082 is now a 65C816 board, with R47 of the firmware. I managed to bend the RESB and φ2O pins (40 and 39) of the original 65C02 as I hamfistedly wedged it out with a flathead screwdriver.

Re: Mini Motors
As a humble bug report, this game glitches and then crashes on my hardware DEV board with a 65C816 installed.

Re: Thoughts on a menu/launcher with auto config (revised)
Agreed. A menu or autolauncher is a good idea; it was even used in the 1980s in some machines. And although I grew up with the C64, even I consider the "LOAD" and "$" and "RUN", a very cryptic user interface.

Re: What case would you put you CX16 board into?
I have my dev board in the official case from Laser3d, which is very cute and, not surprisingly, fits the board completely snug. It also takes up significantly less space than any other microATX case I could find. That said, when I had the board installed in a very typical inexpensive Thermaltake ca...

Re: Serial Number Tracker
DEV0082 arrived back in July and is stationed in Fairfax County, Virginia. It ran in an inexpensive microATX case from Thermaltake until the official case arrived from Laser3d last week. Current project is working on an assembler for use with the excellent X16EDIT. As an aside, my son is just a litt...
