So Hackaday has been reporting on some especially interesting projects this holiday. Someone decided to make a C64, as much as possible from components made this millennium. Has a fairly complete BOM, as well, and their build pretty much just uses an original C64 keyboard, and an original C64 joystick port.

Seems likely to be relevant to folks' interests. ?

Considering all the adapters and modifications needed. Maybe it would make sense to have a new motherboard where all this can be soldered to directly? So as to avoid thermal expansion and contraction connection failure?
