Improve accessibility of 'last post' link icon

The way I've been following what's going on on the forum has always been to just scan the list of "unread articles" and then clicking on the last (new/unread) posts to read those.

But in the new forum I've found that it's very hard to actually do that, because the button to do so is nigh invisible and hard to click, and almost impossible to click on a touch screen device (phone or tablet that I use often to browse the forum)

Frustratingly enough the poster's name is a big hyperlink that's immediately adjacent that just takes me to the poster's profile page, something that you almost never want to do...

Could the link button to the actual last post, be made larger or perhaps a text link that's more easily clicked/tapped on.

yes I think so! I've yet to try it out on mobile, but on desktop with mouse it is already a big improvement. Great!

edit: it only shows up on the main page? Not on unread posts page, not on active posts or new post pages

Just FYI, clicking the red icon on the left also brings you to the first unread post.

Correction.
"clicking the red icon on the left" truly brings you to LAST UNREAD post.
But the arrow in the "Last post" column brings you literally to the LAST post in thread, no matter how much unread posts you have.
