Hi, I'm DragWx. I'm a programmer who comes from the NES homebrew community, so I'm very comfortable with 6502 assembly, reverse engineering assembled code, and making things that look and sound like they came from old computer/game/arcade hardware.
I first heard about the CX16 from The 8-Bit Guy a few years ago, but only recently saw how mature the project had gotten, and I ended up "accidentally" doing a deep dive into the hardware and software and now I'm here.
I've never written anything for a C64 or VIC-20 (or similar) before, so concepts such as using a kernal, loading game assets from disk/tape and into RAM, and everything not simply being baked into ROM are brand new to me, so that'll be fun.
