Re: Bad Apple
You can't use an sdcard image in the web emulator. Just extract everything into the Zip file. Migth require a manifest.json as well
Re: Bad Apple
I had never heard of "Bad Apple" before, so I thought this was most impressive.
Re: Bad Apple
Ran well here on R44 H/W - looks and sounds great! Well, the many-hands were a bit freaky Thanks sharing!

Re: Bad Apple
Well, I just tried this and unfortunately, it doesn't work on composite mode. Hopefully the code can be updated so it doesn't mess with that register. But I hooked up a VGA monitor and saw that it worked.
Are there any other examples of this I could show in the next update video that have a bit more realistic look to it, since I can see that the software can clearly do that part way through, just for a few seconds.

Re: Bad Apple
Which one did you try? The "Bad Apple metal!" one or the original one by me in the start post? My original one should work on composite mode. The 8-Bit Guy wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2023 10:20 pm Well, I just tried this and unfortunately, it doesn't work on composite mode.
Re: Bad Apple
I think he was talking about mine, sorry for the confusion, at the time I thought it was relevant since it was inspired by your original post and not worth a new thread.desertfish wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 4:07 pmWhich one did you try? @The 8-Bit Guy
I'll start a new thread with a video example, and maybe you can suggest something you can use.

Re: Bad Apple
@badmai could be! In any case, can you share the code or algorithm that you used to mix the animation + music? It should be really simple to add composite mode support to it as well
Re: Bad Apple
lol, I don't remember what version I used for that one, was testing ideas using bitmap, sprites, and tiles to render video.desertfish wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 9:20 pm @badmai could be! I'll include the code next time, it was a "spur of the moment" release that seemed to work
Re: Bad Apple
On the SD-card -- if no one minds -- I'll be referring to this demo as "BADMETAL" (in the folder at least), to distinguish it from the other BadApple demo. Can change that if it does bug anyone.
