GOAL: User selects MP4 or other Video file, chooses a few parameters --> program outputs a Video .A file and a soundtrack .ZCM file AND a .PRG file for play on the X16
CURRENT STATE: Output of .A file is 50% complete. Program outputs .A file in 8 bpp frames in either 192x128 or 160x112 in user chosen frame rate. (not all frame rates play successfully. Max is 10fps for 160x112 and I'm trying to push 7fps in 192x128 (6fps is pretty solid) TODO ON VIDEO: Implement 4bpp output which will be able to play at 15fps (or 12 fps for the higher resolution). Audio processing must be done separately PRG must be done separately.
I will not be posting this piece of software until I get 4bpp video output implemented which is pretty soon. I will provide snapshot on request to anyone who wish's to do something with Video on the X16 or just want's to play. The video conversion is pretty straightforward and the Audio processing and PRG editing is not to advanced. (Audio processing does require a little math to get the Audio file correct for A/V sync.)
