You cannot imagine the flashback I just had ?... The US MAD wasn't available in Switzerland (there was a "softened" German version, though), but my uncle sent them over from the states. So I typed in that code back then in 1985...

I like the 'scrambled' way the image comes up. I wonder how they did the scrambling of the line segments back then rather than drawing it in a natural order

I first saw this on Adrian's Digital Basement when someone sent him a copy of the magazine.

The original C-64 BASIC version takes about 20 minutes to draw the image, the compiled C version takes about 4 seconds on a C-64 and about 1 second on the x16emu.

Glad I could contribute to the nostalgia. ?
