My guess is it has something to do with letters being capital or not on your system.
Can you see the directory if you press F7?
You may have to rename the directory in Windows so it is ALL CAPS

Did you download the whole emulator + ROM or just the ROM?
I think some addresses changed in this ROM, so you'll need the matching emulator version. (ALWAYS use the matching Emulator+ROM version, actually.)

Then you might have to obtain the newest emulator as well:
https://github.com/X16Community/x16-emu ... 8313868273 (see Artifacts section).
If you don't have a Github account already you should consider to sign up for one. It doesn't cost anything and is the standard source for Open Source code.

Hello thanks for the information.
I opened an account there.
With source code and being 75 years old, I can no longer do anything to produce the x16 myself. My ability to think doesn't go that far anymore.
I'm looking for a new finished version of the x16 for windows.
Thanks.

You don't need to compile the source code by your own, it's already done and the bins can be obtained from the Artifacts section here:
https://github.com/X16Community/x16-emu ... 8313868273
Just load the appropriate bin for your operating system, that's all you need to do. Since you're running Windows the current snapshot of the emulator can be requested by that link:
https://github.com/X16Community/x16-emu ... 1332797164
But I'd rather recommend to go and load directly from Github, since new builds may be done at any time.
Addendum for the staff: I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting a link to the current emulator snapshot. If so, please remove it and let me know. Thanks.
