OK. My hardware is now R45,VERA-FX, and latest SMC. I originally wanted to have Sven virtually holding my hand on it but I succeeded.

HAD ANOTHER ARCHIVE ERROR.. NOW FIXED.

To: Anyone reading through those last messages. This was entirely my screwup. I had 2 versions of a BIN Blob laying around and I uploaded the incorrect one to the archive. This dumb mistake is now fixed and the above archives should work properly.

I have thouroughly banged my head against my desk for 5 minutes as self flagellation :).

I'm re-posting this here just to keep it as the last POST.

This is the fixed version. No changes from version two pages back. I am doing my final post in this thread sometime tomorrow after I've set up a HANGMAN BETA thread on Downloads/Games. My last post here will be a link to that thread.

It may be that Pre-BETA4 and BETA-1 end up being very nearly the same. The game is 99% feature complete now. I only have 3 more big ones. A Win game Screen, INI file support, and (this one is the most complex) Music and Sound management code.

The clicks during typing your name and such is neat:) I recall that effect in one of your other demos.
1. I actually concur, already thought of it. But I'm completely redesigning the initial splash screen as a BMP --> BVLOAD graphic file. So I don't want to waste time rewriting code thats getting shelved. Also. When I go from BETA to RC1. I'm going to write a comprehensive README file for the game. I would put a help file in but I'm squeezing the RAM as it is. A good README is the next best thing.

2. I spent an hour after work on the drawing demo problem, in a frantic panic most of that time. I f...ing hate both intermittent bugs and unreproducible bugs. But I've flooded your PM's on DISCORD and here, I'm waiting on your confirmation that I really have it fixed.

Also, it was kind of a stupid mistake on my part... But those come with the territory, :)

If a programmer tells me they've never had a bug in their code, I know their lieing :)

BTW.. What did you think of my Pallette fades. :) I would do it for the entire drawing but Clouds and Grass take a bit to long. Better to see them drawing instead of a long wait time.
