I'm using the Checkmate 1500 mini case.. Had to pull out the back panel and grind out the existing standoffs, drill new holes to match the mini atx pattern and 3d print some spacers. At some point I will have to make a new back panel as it's just open now and I believe, if it's ever necessary, I can create a cartridge slot in the side.

Lot of work considering there are plenty of cases that you could've used right out of the box.

But it's great to see all the unique builds that people make!

For the cartridge slot I've been thinking if it would be possible to have an extender and then make a slot to the front of the case. Maybe modify the floppy drive plate that came with the case. Alternate placement could be below the PSU, might be a cleaner install but harder to access the slot. Haven't measured the sizes yet though, and I guess I might want to have a cartridge or two before going for it, so a distant future thing atm.
