Commander X16

Hi I've been following the development for this project for a while, and I would like to develop software. But I have no knowledge of programming or even the basics so I'm a complete noob. Any tips on where to begin?

Yuppers, it's all good. The only thing to be steer clear of are POKE commands, those are going to be different on the X16.
