Made a bit of progress on the ol’ game engine recently. Pleased with the quality of progress, if not the quantity. Gettting there though.
Added a few game enginey features, so can now accelerate and decelerate the player, as well as have him jumping on top of bits of scenery. Can also do smooth lerps between screen positions, so the bad guys will get moving around soon.

Not a game I’ve actually played. Gonna have to seek it out now though
