so the android emualtor got taken off google play and how do i download it now?

In general you would need to get the ".apk" and "sideload" it into your computerized phone.

For Apple iPhones.. they are essentially f**ked if Apple doesn't bless their users with permission to use their own hardware.

 

Android emulator is (was?) unofficial one. If you manage to find the latest .apk in some internet archive, it would be very outdated, and there really not much point in using it. Android emulator author encountered difficulties implementing new features, and eventually project was stalled. I'm not sure when or if it will be resumed.
