This is a common problem with people that use ATX power supplies for other things, such as 12V bench supplies. This can be solved by putting some power resistors on the 5V or 12V rails, but that seems wasteful. Personally, I plan on using a simple "Pico ITX" supply, which appears to work well enough (although there seem to be some minor issues with the SMC and the timing of the "power good" signal.)paulscottrobson wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 2:16 pm One thing we have noticed, very occasionally, is that it doesn't work with a 'normal' (e.g. PC) power supply ; possibly because the board draws very little current, so that it doesn't think the board is actually working.
