We've been working in collaboration with the X16 team to develop a case specifically for the project. A few days ago we received our Dev Board for test fitting into the prototype case and have put together an unboxing reaction video here:
I hope you enjoyed watching, if you have any comments or feedback please let me know and I'll do my best to answer any questions, cheers!

Hi.
I'm really liking the cases.
Much prefer the white case over the black one.
The thing that stands out to me is the clear top.
That looks really classy showing the CX16 Board, which itself looks great.
Much prefer the look of these cases over the CX16 console style case too.
Not to keen on the drill a hole in the top for the cartridge idea though.
WIll the cartridge hole be open, covered by a flap ?
I would prefer it on the side of the case, but i can see that putting undue stress on the connector over time.
Personally though, i'd like an option for the case top with no cartridge hole.
I don't know about anyone else but I don't see myself having much use for cartridges.
Also not too keen on the large etched X on the clear top.
Would prefer a smaller etched X in one of the corners.
Just my personal preference of course.
Keep up the great work.

Thank you for this video! I took the liberty of adding an embed, so people can watch from here.
As I've mentioned on the other social media channels, this case looks very exciting, and I'm eager to see more!
Also, everyone should visit the Lazer3D web site. They have some great looking designs, and those cases can be adapted for other designs, including Raspberry Pi or MiSTer FPGA based systems. If you're looking for something that's not just another black metal PC case with a window on the side, these are worth checking out.

So, are you going to develop a matching 3.5" drive case for people who want a 1581 clone?
From FB discussion:
Anthony Rufrano: I like the Foenix, but I can't justify $275 for a floppy drive when I can get 5 x 1581 clone boards and use any IBM 1.44MB floppy drive for $75 fully assembled from PCBWay.
