A little bit of retrophobia

Hello:)

I always loved the games from the C64, they sit nice and calm in my long term memory, however seeing old games again on YouTube longplay versions seems to ruin little bit of the nostalgia, however the awesome music from the era still works nicely!

I would not mind to have one of these computers to play with, and it would be even cooler if there are tiny stripped-down versions of it which you can make IoT stuff with.

Hi and welcome! I’m another newbie here. :) I’ve been getting a huge kick out of the YouTube videos of old Commodore games…there’s so much stuff I’ve forgotten, every time I see something from back then I’m like ohhhh yeeeeaaahhh! I remember you! :)

It’s also kinda nice to find out things like, that game based on the BC comic was just terribly made? I wasn’t actually bad at the game, it just sucked? Phew, 30 years of closure. 😂

yeah, the more you search on youtube. the more these forgotten gems seems to pop up.. like.. william wobbler was one of them, i remembered fragments of this game, and then i saw it again and it's just so hillarious that this was what we spent hours on trying to complete. but when you see the longplays and people playing them finish. you just knew this would take forever... Fist 2 is also one of such games, and for suddendly remember the amazingly horrible scream in the beginning of way of the exploding fist :D
