How Can I Get Editor INS Mode When Using Mac Keyboard With Emulator?

Hi Again

How can I get the X16 emulator to go in to INSERT mode?

I'm running the emulator on my Mac until my hardware arrives in a few weeks. I only have an official Apple Mac Keyboard - the thin flat one with numeric keypad, wireless. It has a FN key where standard IBM type keyboards have the INS button.

I've tried so many different key combinations to get INS mode to work, but so far, no joy.

Any workarounds gratefully accepted!

The trick I know is, press shift+backspace to insert as many blank spaces as you need, then just type in that space. Be aware that this also seems to activate "quote mode" for those spaces (i.e., the thing where pressing arrow keys inserts those "command" symbols) until you fill them up.

Otherwise, I don't think the editor has any concept of an "insert" mode and an "overwrite" mode; it's just always in "overwrite" mode. :P

How can I get the colours too? I can get say BLACK by pressing CTRL and 1, all the way to CTRL and 8 for YELLOW.
But what about the other 8 colours?

EDIT - found it by accident - it's the OPTION key on my Mac keyboard.
