I know this might be a silly question...
But knowing we can use x16 edit when we go into the "MENU"
can we use x16 edit directly by typing something into the command line?

Yes, just write: EDIT
You can even write: EDIT SOMEFILE.TXT to have it open SOMEFILE.TXT directly
