Any more work on Blitz?

I remember seeing a post on porting Blitz BASIC to the X16. Does anyone know it anybody is seriously working on this?

I too have been wondering about this - I have programs that would really benefit from being "Blitzed"!

The current version works in core areas, but it doesn't handle files properly at the moment - a known issue acknowledged by the author... but that was a good 6 or 7 weeks ago. Since then, nada.

I hope he's OK.
