Just. Test upload of a pic of my dog. Testing uploading files from iPhone. Seemed to work fine.

@Perifractic: When I click on "View FIle" I would expecr to see a preview of the image. Instead, I just get a blank white area. I can then press "Download this ...", and that does indeed download an image of a nice dog. But as I said, there should be a preview before pressing Download.

You need to upload a screenshot. There's no general visual preview for the actual file itself, since it could well be a zip or an executable. This is on purpose, for security reasons as well as for the fact that these are supposed to be downloads, not image galleries. There's another module for Invision that handles image galleries.

I would agree that it's a little confusing when people post images into the "Downloads" section as the only content in a post, but I can understand why it doesn't auto-preview. Should image-only postings there be discouraged? If there's enough interest in folks showing off their X16 graphical chops, would it be possible to add that image gallery module sometime down the road?

Possible yes, but it's a commercial module, we'd have to pay for it.

What do people think about removing the graphics section altogether?

As long as we are still able to add images to posts and thumbnails to uploads, I see no real reason to have a separate graphics section in downloads.

I thought "graphics" meant "graphics applications", not images.

Ah that makes sense. I'll try to think of a clearer naming structure.
